Shoulder impingement--why would I be in more pain a few hours after the injection? - shoulder pain more condition_symptoms push ups

I did go ahead with an impingement of the shoulder with a small tear in my rotator cuff and a bone. They gave me an injection of cortisone with painkillers in it. I felt better for a few hours, but now I'm in more pain than I had when I went to the doctor. All statements? This happened to you?

Cortisone injections are usually with a local anesthetic similar to the dentist used to repair a mixed tooth. When she disappears, sometimes it can feel pain. In addition, one of the most common reactions to cortisone injection as a "style of cortisone," what happens when recrystallized cortisone. Who usually takes about a day, until the body is involved. Sometimes it can be relieved with ice on the injection site for assistance. Cortisone style is even worse than the shot does not hurt, sometimes even rivaling the problem with the injection. "What's going on. You can call the doctor to see if you can get pain medication by mouth to cover for a day or two, until he has calmed down.

I totally agree with "Mom ".... I had a throat surgery and get the trigger point injections of steroids, cortisone and lidocaine and the epidural in my neck, and I did the first time I "said that they expect the deterioration of the pain during the first week. And I feel great for a few hours later, because I'm still numb from the lidocaine, but when it disappears .. .. sight, but I'm in pain. The site also has ignited an anti-inflammatory that can help, but call your doctor.
